Applications & use cases
Protecting the line
A general purpose element catches liquid water, oil and pipe scale before they reach tools, valves and a dryer.
Rising pressure drop
A red reading on the differential gauge or falling pressure at the point of use means the element is loaded. Change it at the red zone or at least once a year.
Protecting the next stage
A working general purpose element keeps bulk liquid off the downstream high efficiency element, which would otherwise saturate early.
Fitting tips
Isolate and vent the housing, fit the new element with a clean O ring, and check the auto drain works before returning the line to service.
