Ingersoll Rand 85565737 is the replacement grade D dry particulate element for the F212ID in-line compressed air filter, which catches dust and desiccant fines in dry air after a desiccant dryer. Applications & use cases
Desiccant dust after the dryer
Desiccant dryers shed fine dust as the beads wear. A grade D element catches it before it reaches valves, cylinders and instruments. Replace it when the pressure drop climbs.
Instrument and process air
Dry particulate elements protect positioners, air bearings and spray equipment from solid particles in air that is already dry.
Scheduled replacement
Dry particulate elements are normally changed every 12 months or 8,000 hours, whichever comes first.
Fitting tips
Isolate and vent the housing, fit the new element with a clean O ring, and check the bowl seals before pressurising. A grade D element is for dry air only; put a coalescing element ahead of any wet air.
