Kaeser E16KA is the replacement KA grade activated carbon element for the Kaeser F16KA in-line compressed air filter, which adsorbs oil vapour and odours after the coalescing stage. It is used on Kaeser F16 series in-line compressed air filters. This aftermarket version is made to the same mounting and connections as the original, so it fits where the old one came off.
The same part is also sold as Kaeser 901562.0.
Sold as one unit. Check the number on your old part, or in the parts manual for your machine, before ordering.

Applications & use cases
Oil smell or taste in the air
Activated carbon removes oil vapour and odours a coalescing element lets through. A smell of oil at the point of use means the carbon is saturated.
Scheduled replacement
Carbon gives no pressure drop warning when it is spent, so change it on time: normally every 1,000 to 2,000 hours or as the filter manual states.
Protecting sensitive processes
Food and drink, laboratories, painting and breathing air feeds need the oil vapour taken out after the coalescing stage.
Fitting tips
Keep a KE element ahead of it so liquid oil never reaches the carbon, fit the new element with a clean O ring, and change both together.
