It is used on Komatsu PC200-7, PC220-7, PC300-7 and PC200-8 excavators. This aftermarket valve has the same ports, mounting and coil connector as the original, so it fits where the old one came off.
It replaces Komatsu 702-21-57400 and Komatsu 702-21-55901.

This valve sets the main pump output from the machine controller. A sticking or failed valve leaves the pump at the wrong output: the machine feels slow, bogs the engine, or lacks digging force.
Pump fault codes
A pump solenoid fault on the monitor, or a current reading outside range, points at this valve or its wiring. Check the plug and harness before replacing it.
Coil test
Unplug the valve and measure the coil resistance. An open or shorted coil means the valve must be replaced.
Fitting tips
Relieve hydraulic pressure, clean around the valve before removing it, fit new O-rings lightly oiled, check the filter screens are in place, and torque the bolts evenly.
