Dusty Industrial Environments
In facilities with high airborne dust levels, such as woodworking or cement plants, the 60 µm wire mesh media captures abrasive particles that can accelerate wear. This filter helps maintain oil cleanliness, extending the life of compressor bearings and rotors.
Continuous-Duty Operations
For compressors running 24/7 in manufacturing lines, the robust 3 bar collapse pressure ensures the filter remains intact even under high differential pressure. This reduces the risk of bypassing contaminants and unplanned downtime.
Fleet Maintenance Consolidation
Workshop managers servicing multiple Mattei and Hydrovane compressors can standardise on this single filter part number. It simplifies inventory management and reduces the chance of fitting the wrong filter during routine oil changes.
Remote or Harsh Climate Sites
In outdoor installations or unheated sheds where oil viscosity varies with temperature, the wire mesh media performs consistently without swelling or degradation. This ensures reliable filtration from cold start to full operating temperature.
Check your compressor's model number against the verified list: Mattei 64 AC-ERC, 515 AC-ERC, 507 AC-ERC (10cv), 38 AC-ERC (10cv), AC 15 SH, 58 AC-ERC (15cv), 511 AC-ERC (15cv), 44 AC-ERC. It also fits Hydrovane equipment, but specific models are not listed.
This filter uses a wire mesh media with a filtration rating of 60 µm. Wire mesh is cleanable and offers low flow resistance, making it suitable for oil systems where high efficiency is not required.
The outer diameter is 42 mm, body height is 86 mm, largest inner diameter is 20 mm, and smallest inner diameter is 6 mm. No thread specification is provided; verify thread type from your original filter.
This is an aftermarket replacement, not OEM. It is built to match the specifications of the original filters from Fai Filtri, HiFi Filter, Hydrovane, Mattei, Noitech, Oxfil, and Sotras. Performance is equivalent for the intended application.
Installation is the same as the original filter: lubricate the gasket, hand-tighten only, and check for leaks. Replacement interval depends on operating conditions; follow your compressor manufacturer's schedule or replace when differential pressure indicates clogging.
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee and a price-beat guarantee. Worldwide shipping with tracking is available. No specific delivery times or warranty periods are stated beyond these guarantees.
