Sullair 02250193-593 Aftermarket Coalescing Line Filter Element

Sullair 02250193-593 is the replacement high efficiency oil removal coalescing element for the Sullair FXH-475 in-line compressed air filter, which removes fine oil aerosols and particles down to 0.01 micron. It is used on Sullair FXH-475 in-line compressed air filter housings. This aftermarket version is made to the same mounting and connections as the original, so it fits where the old one came off.

Applications & use cases

High pressure drop across the filter
As the element loads with dirt and oil, the pressure drop rises and the compressor works harder for the same pressure at the tools. Change the element when the differential gauge reaches the red zone.

Oil or water reaching the tools
A saturated or damaged coalescing element lets liquid through to the downstream filters and the point of use. Replace it and check the drain is working.

Scheduled replacement
High efficiency coalescing elements are normally changed every 12 months or 8,000 hours, whichever comes first, or sooner if the prefilter ahead of them has been neglected.

Fitting tips
Isolate and vent the housing, check the auto drain is clear, fit the new element with a clean O ring, and check the bowl seals before pressurising.
