It replaces the element marked CFD216. Check the code printed on the old element, or measure it: this one is 80 mm (3-1/8 in) in diameter and 312 mm (12-5/16 in) high. The letters give the grade (DFD dry particulate, PFD general purpose, HFD high efficiency, CFD carbon) and the number is the size.
