Deltech HFD135, direct aftermarket replacement. Aftermarket replacement element for the Deltech HFD135, the grade HFD (high efficiency coalescing, 0.01 micron) element for size 135 Deltech compressed air line filters. It measures 80 mm (3-1/8 in) in diameter and 192 mm (7-9/16 in) high and is rated for about 280 scfm (450 Nm3/h) at 7 bar (100 psi).

This is the high efficiency coalescing element that brings oil aerosols and fine particles down to 0.01 micron. It usually follows a PFD element so it is not loaded with bulk dirt and water. The DFD, PFD, HFD and CFD elements of size 135 share one housing size, so check the letters on the old element before ordering. Every element is checked against the part number before it ships, and every order is covered by our 30 day money back guarantee, worldwide delivery and price beat guarantee. Use cases & applications

Annual element change
Change DFD, PFD and HFD elements at least once a year, or sooner when the pressure drop across the filter reaches about 350 mbar (5 psi). Change CFD carbon elements at least every 6 months.

Instrument and process air
The HFD stage brings oil aerosols down to the level needed for instrument air, paint lines, packaging and air dryers.

Workshop and plant air
Line filters sit after the compressor, receiver or dryer to keep water, oil and dirt out of air tools, valves and cylinders.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a genuine Deltech HFD135?

No. It is an aftermarket compressed air filter element made to replace the Deltech HFD135. It is not made by or affiliated with Deltech or SPX, and the part number is used only to show what it replaces.

Will it fit my filter?

It replaces the element marked HFD135. Check the code printed on the old element, or measure it: this one is 80 mm (3-1/8 in) in diameter and 192 mm (7-9/16 in) high. The letters give the grade (DFD dry particulate, PFD general purpose, HFD high efficiency, CFD carbon) and the number is the size.

When should I change the element?

Change DFD, PFD and HFD elements at least once a year, or sooner when the pressure drop across the filter reaches about 350 mbar (5 psi). Change CFD carbon elements at least every 6 months.

Which grade do I need?

Use the same letters as the element you are taking out. A typical line runs PFD then HFD after the compressor, CFD after that when oil vapour and odour must be removed, and DFD after a desiccant dryer to stop dust.

Should I change anything else at the same time?

Change the other elements in the same line at the same service, fit new O-rings if the old ones are flattened or cracked, and check that the drain on the filter bowl works.

Do you ship to my country?

Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping is calculated at checkout, and every order is covered by our 30 day money back guarantee and price beat guarantee.
